The Ghana football Association has postponed Eleven Wonders and Hearts Ghana premier league match.
The fixture which was scheduled this weekend has now been moved on a different date. Our reports indicates that the postponement was on advice from the Ghana Health Service to investigate the source of the illness that affected the Phobian team last week.
“The Ghana Football Association has postponed the Eleven Wonders vrs Hearts of Oak match. The game will be played on Wednesday, 25th May 2022.” statement released by Hearts on the weekend fixture.
The champions wrote to the GFA earlier last week to postponed their premier league home fixture against Goldstars but the request was turned down with Hearts honoring the match in a solitary 1-0 victory over the Miners.
The club on Thursday updated the state of the medical conditions of the players by confirming that ‘the players contracted a severe acute respiratory infection, the source of which is still being investigated.’ The club said in the official statement.
